Motorbikes don’t require front plates so i can’t see why cars etc need to have them.

So I bought a 35is with all the toys to play with. :thumbsup:

That’s only because of practicalities & safety Ron, neither of these issues apply to cars so that’s why a difference between the two exists :thumbsup:
Bikes used to have them but were causing terrible injuries as a result :o

I think that was when they were mounted on the front mudguard ie fore and aft?

I can understand why that’s dangerous if you did a header over the bars or sliced into a pedestrian - my point was tho, if a plate isn’t needed on a bike it’s equally not needed on a car.

It is needed on a bike though Ron, the powers that be would love to make bikers have them, they just can’t practically have a safe mounting for one-that’s subtlety different to not being needed :wink:
No such issues with cars so we’re lumbered with them!

I am still miles away and a few £££'s to where id like this to be, but its work in progress.

Any non standard sized Plates are only a reason for the Law to pull you over....legal or not as the are out of the different ...that is what i think .

Looks good on the 405s , the black inners /polished fronts give the best of both worlds & yet to see them look bad on any Bmw . Wasnt long after you took those i bought another set :oops: :P

Can I ask what size tyres are you running on those wheels, they seem to be a deeper profile than the standard 19in tyres ? Thanks
