How stable is the E89 at high speed?

I just came back from vacation & had a bit of fun with another BMW on the German highway (with wifes permission). I took it to about 235Km/h (146Mph) and then chickened out, the car would still go, but it felt slightly 'wobbly' (could also have been me, I'm not a real racer)

So ... that's when the M4 blasted past me at at least 250Km/h. Although the Dutch highways are even better than most German ones, the speed limit is 100Km/h... the last 150 or so kilometres felt like I was crawling home...
