same thing happened to me, luckily banged the locking part back on with a hammer and got enough purchase to move it... binned them all and replaced with standard wheel nuts.maxman said:Just seen your post,I put my key in the bolt and gave it whack with a hammer, you have one shot with a long bar to undo.my new key has 32 stamped on it ,if it’s the same as the one you have ,your welcome to borrow it.
It may not be the same kind of break but one of the bolts came apart on my X6 wheels and I managed to hammer it back together enough to get the bolt out. The bolts seem to be made in 3 parts. Dont use locking wheel bolts now.mr.tourette said:maxman said:I had the same,it was the last wheel to come off.I took one-from the other wheel into Chester. Halliwell Jones, they had them in stock. The parts dept is about 400m from the showroom. Those locking keys are made of chewing gum :headbang:mr.tourette said::x f***ing apes that fitted the tyres on my old wheels have overtorqued every bolt..result = 1 broken locking wheel bolt..game over for today..fkin raging :headbang:
