Thinking of respraying my ZEEEE

So chaps,
My brother just bought a spanking new M4 in the most incredible blue.
Attaching two pics, one with my ‘comparatively’, dull as dishwater Z4 in the background.
Wondered what your thoughts on painting my Z this colour????

Your background Zed looks rather good to me - nice colour comb, don't let the sparkly shiny thing get in your head

The 4 series looks lovely in that colour but I’m not sure on a Zed.

Surely an estoril blue E89 would be close to that.

I love your colour, and a great combo with the interior, I know the 4 is nice and shiny and the colour looks good, but not sure it would suit the zed

I find it hard to get excited over 99% of new Bmws ( as of the past 3-4 years) bland + mundane would not be out of place on any sales bumphh :(
Colour is " ok " , not exactly popping like Interlagos does :) & hard to set it apart from the rep mobiles ,
This pic would sum up the problem for me , is it a M4 , 4 coupe or is it a 3 series :? doesn't even look like a genuine ///M car

mcbutler, your car looks really good as it is.

And, just as importantly, re-sprays that involve a major colour change are always difficult and expensive.

Don’t think it would suit the Z4, especially with red seats.

That M4 is way to under stated. Looks like a normal 3/4 series as said already.

That 4 Series does look good in that colour, but I don't think it would look too great with your red seats OP!

If you want a different colour it's probably easiest to change your car.

Although my favourite colour on a Z4 is Valencia Orange, I don't really want an E89.

When I was looking for my 2nd Z4 I wanted a colour, so I went for Montego Blue - gratuitous photo here.

Ok guys, it stays silver.after a good nights sleep a sense of calm has descended on me. And, after seeing his car on a dull day it’s not quite as eye popping as it was yesterday.
