M Bumper retrofit question !
Hi,
I've just replaced my standard bumper by the M model.
The following lips was included with the kit and seem to be required;
Part 7
But I really don't understand how to mount it because it comes in conflict with the other part 2
Can somebody help me with a photo of an origin M mounting ?
Many Thanks.

M Bumper retrofit question !
In your photo, part A doesn't match part 2 in the expanded diagram...
if you look at where you've put the letter "A" on the photo, compare that to the same location in the diagram, and there should be a vertical bit?
Have you definitely got the correct diagram? Assuming that diagram is for the M Sport version, what is the diagram like for the model your car actually is? Could comparing the two help?
Part B was included in your kit, right? What about part A? Was that in the kit, or was it what you already had?
Looks to me like part B isn't required if your part A is like the one you've got? or does one fit inside the other?

M Bumper retrofit question !
Thanks for your kind reply.
The Part A is the original part which was installed on my car previously. I don't know if this Part is available for both non M and M Bumper but this one fits perfectly with my new M-Bumper installation. --> www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=L ... Id=51_7256
The Part B was included with the Retrofit M-Bumper installation --> www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showparts?id=L ... Id=03_0779
In my opinion, I think if I want to install the Part B, I need to uninstall the Part A. The Part A offers a better protection compared with the small Part B. I do not understand the reason of this difference between Non-M and M Bumper. That's why I would like to compare with an original installation.
One last important detail; If I look at the diagram for a 35is model (equivalent with an M-Sport), both the Part A and B are illustrated.

With a picture, I could see which type of lip is installed with an original M-Bumper.
