I think that was a 'screen only' quote - for some reason we couldn't get you onto the main club scheme (acceptance criteria). Had we done so you'd have been looking at something much more competitive to the other quotes you've received.

Heard this all before.

Everyone check the main comparison websites, they will always beat these guys - and you get cashback/incentives etc

After a fair amount of negative forum feedback & in the past couple of years dropping from 3 car policies per year with CK to zero i'm happy to say ive just agreed 12months cover with them after they beat my best other quote by £38 ( Classicline renewal )
Only slight gripe i have & its one ive mentioned before & its also why i didn't take up a policy last year as a saving at that time of just £17 wasn't worth the amount of hoops i was asked to jump through
1) photocopies of driving licences for both drivers ( never been asked by other insurers ? )
2)copy of my other vehicle NCD so they can offer me a "mirror" of it
3)copy of the best quote i received
4) obtain & provide a code from DVLA so they can check my licence ? Which will offer the same info as a copy of my paper one

Thanks for giving us another go mr wilks. Just to help answer some of your queries: The licence stuff helps confirm a number of things (you can imagine what they all are - convictions, test pass date, address, etc). The NCD proof is so we give you the right amount on this car and the proof of quote is so we can prove to insurers why we needed to quote the price we did - we are audited on this stuff.

Got a good quote from you guys this year on the M3 cheaper than anyone else (price matched) like others have said a fair amount of paperwork to send off but it's not too bad to be honest and I found the staff to be very helpful too. Thumbs up from me a happy customer for the year

Hi, yes you can - multi-car discount but each car on the best policy for it individually, maximising any saving.

Interesting business model you guys have I must say. Called up for a quote beginning of last week, was told it needed to be checked with underwriters (the only broker where this has happened to me) and would receive a call back next day with the premium. Needless to say that didn't happen and I've now gone elsewhere.
Maybe I'll win the GP tickets though heh so as not to have been a total waste of time
