Narrowed it down to these 3, can anybody give me feedback on these companies, good or bad?

I seem to always end up back with AXA, at renewal its always higher so I go somewhere else for a year and then they are the cheapest again. Home and car now with them.

However, I made a claim with AXA when someone knocked the zed, they put my premium up even though I wasn't in the car, it wasn't my fault and we claimed and won against the third party. When I rejoined after a year with another company I put down that I hadn't had an acciden in 3 years seeing that I wasn't in the car, they sent a letter back saying that they checked their records and I had had an accident. I tried to explain but wouldn't have the fact that I wasn't in the car as an excuse, cost me another 5%

Of those options AXA will probably be your best for quality of cover though you have no-one to fight your corner in the event of a claim - you're dealing with the insurer direct. The other 2 are brokers so can provide this service for you.

Adrian flux are underwritten by Norwhich Union arnt they? They always used to give me reasonable quotes but always one higher than Brentacre (on my scirocco).

A-Plan are a small outfit in Maidenhead if I recall correctly, I've seen their shop pretty much like an estate agents! They work hard to get good quotes but no idea who underwrites them..

I have used Adrian Flux for my motorbikes they were very competitive for modded bikes.

Never had to claim though so can't say what they'd be like to deal with in the event but IMO I think they all pee in the same pot when it comes to claims.

I'm with Adrian Flux. No issues and always accommodating for mods etc

Was only £120 increase moving from lowest risk rural area to higher risk Edinburgh address earlier this year.

No increase for mods when lowered etc.

My van is insured with Adrian Flux. The price was very good but their admin was a bit hit and miss as I had numerous emails asking for proof of no claims etc even though I'd already supplied them. I've renewed again with them this year as their price was still OK without the hassle of the the original setting up.
