Two of us on here have ///M's insured with them for £370 which half the price of the next cheapest price I had also.
Are they ok with mods? I might try them next time... How about superchargers? :D Admiral said they would never cover such things as if I was crazy to even ask!

I know they will cover mods, but obviously check with them first.

I am with ClassicLine too. They call it a modern classic policy. Most of the regular 'classic' policies I looked at were for cars 10 years old or more.

I rang Classic Line but as the car is a daily driver including business use they declined to quote.

Just went on Meerkat and Admiral came up the cheapest at £347.50 and Elephant a couple of quid dearer all mods declared. Given that I am paying Chris Knott £400 at the moment and not eagerly awaiting my renewal at the end of the month, I guess its a bit of a no brainer.

Strange really because when I phoned Admiral last year they were not particularly competitive for me and I stayed with Knott.

Just insured the Zed for £168 with Admiral multicar. A total of £475 for 3 cars inc a 2.0TDCi Ford and Peugeot 107, making the Ford more expensive to insure than the Zed :scratchhead:

This was based on a cheap postcode, 49 yrs, low risk occupations, insured and spouse, SDP& commuting, 9yrs NCB, garaged/drive mix, 10k miles per car.

This seems like a decent deal which effectively gave me one free :)
2003 2.5 SE, low miles, Sterling Grey, 108's & Eagles, no stubby here! Unmolested.

WE ended up using BMW's own insurance , I suppose its all down to how and where you use the car.

Where you live and where its parked.

We go to europe alot and alot of companies dont like that , its also used for work trips a fair bit.

BUT you have to check every year DON'T YOU

Try http://www.skyinsurance.co.uk/ as another resort.
I know Admiral multi car is good and I will look for a quote from them when I buy my MC soon but we had the RS4 with Sky and I was paying 626 which was very good at the time.
Most others on rs246 were paying north of a 1000 quid.
