Sorry haven't thanked everyone especially Mike of course before now, still grinning ear to ear having this done and breathing life into my dead motor. Not only working but doing so better than ever, if anyone organises a local cruise or meet please let me know !

Just stumbled across this thread - what an opportunity I missed....shame I hadn't bought my Zed by then! :)
Had mine done by Bowser recently, but would've been good to meet up with others in the area seeing as so much knowledge is in one place - and Carly too!

Either of you guys done the retro cruise with srhutch's wire? I've got all the gear, but not got around to it yet. Want to take a look at someone's if possible. Cheers!

I'm getting set to do mine in the next week or so - now I've got the DMF done on the family Galaxy. I'll try and remember to pm you when I'm done but with the srhutch loom I'm expecting it to be a straight forward job; particularly if I use the 'feel for the gap method' rather than dropping the glove box. What could go wrong

Apologies for such an old thread revival, but I'm after some info.
Sadly I can't access any photos on this thread.

A lady in Norwich just contacted me. She has an E85 and the roof motor is not working.
It's in the boot and she says the person she bought it off told her it was relocated by Z-D-H-D.
She bought it from Suffolk, and I'm just wondering if it was done by Mike on his visit to Cambridge? If so, there's probably some things I can rule out, such as kinked hoses.
Its a facelift, black, 2 litre, registration NC57 YBR
Would be handy if anyone knows anything about this car?
Thanks.

Always happy to help if I can.

If the forum helped you, why not help the forum back. Thats the Z4 way!
