Wow since this thread started asking prices for a well kept Whippy have risen 50%! it's officially a 'bubble'!

Last week £19.99 for a 'mint' example (please discuss the definition of a mint whippy  )
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/BMW-Z4-E85-ST ... 3641.l6368
And new to the market this week a chancer is riding the current price wave with a high mileage whippy with bodywork imperfections at £30!

You don't need man maths to realise it's a great time to upgrade to a whippy, keep it well, enjoy, and you should see a profit when time comes to move it on

The whippy is the new soft top side covers, better than money in the bank.
Got to be original black though :D
Now we will see the smiles wiped of the faces of the stubbed members, I think it will be wise to remove the expensive whippy when parked up, can't be to careful :)

Just a word to the wise folks, fakes are now flooding the ///W market, they might look OK but they get very unstable at higher motorway speeds - avoid

As the owner of side covers AND a whippy I no longer need to worry about any depreciation on the Zed. In a couple of years' time they will be worth thousands! :)

Top tip: the next big thing is mudflaps!

News flash. Don't use the radio. :o If your buying a used whippy to add to your investment portfolio, be sure to check the usage History to ensure it has never received Chris Evans. Any such Whippies should not be attached to your Zed. Instead they should be packaged securely and sent to Amazon Prime.

I gave mine away to a forum member for FREE :P

I think he'd just seen 50 shades of grey and it gave him some ideas...can't think of any other reason anyone would actually want one!

I had to keep checking my calendar to ensure that today is March first, Not April first.
Current cars: 2013 Honda Civic EX (daily driver, 55,000 KM) + 2003 Mazda MX-5 SE (Titanium Grey, with 22,000 KM) + 2006 BMW M6 (Indianapolis Red Metallic, just turned 67,000 KM)
First sports car was 1963 Morgan 4/4 in 1964.Image

As a die hard Trump! supporter, I feel strongly that his presidency has caused the new revival of the long whippy!

For too long, Obama had us at such low expectations. The short stubby was simply an expression of this, although a subliminal one, no doubt.

Now, we have MAGA Trump in office with yuuggeee expectations and now we MUST raise the bar, and thus the antenna as well!

I say now, let our whippys raise as high as our DOW* and lets "Make Aerials Great Again" (MAGA)!!!

* DOW is a stock market thing.

And this is satire. Please, let's all just laugh and roll our eyes. You know this is funny. :poke: :poke:
Success is earned and so is failure.

Looks like someone got a real winter bargain, genuine BMW whippy in original condition for £5 :o
viewtopic.php?f=7&t=112477

I know how much we like a chart on our market watch threads so I've put one together to help members get their whippy investment timing right. With prices depressed due to winter and Brexit it looks like it's time to buy!
