That's a result!

Your OH looks pretty happy in the photo too, so you just need to get stuck into the modifications now.

 More of a result than you’ll ever know. She’s most definitely not a car person but loves the Z4. She’s really got into it and has been asking about going on some of the Scottish runs, particularly the overnight ones so we’ve been looking at the events and seeing what works date wise so hoping to meet some of you soon. The one incorporating Skye is leading the list at the moment

Drove the 4 year old daughter home from nursery with the top down for the first time and she giggled and laughed all the way. She’s claimed the ‘Zid’ as mine and hers and the XC60 is her Mams and the other daughters.

Not done anything to the car...but will be using these when I'm driving it next. Not to everyone's taste I'm sure, but they were in the sale and I never know what footwear to wear when I'm going for a proper drive for a few hours.

The car is getting its major detail over the next few weeks which includes a bumper respray and refurbed alloys - which I dropped off yesterday. It's amazing what you can get into a little 1 series coupe! Pics of that coming soon!

Organised my Garage a bit today having taken delivery of a Tyre Rack to store two sets of wheels I have for the Z3 and Z4, cheapish ebay item from Germany £32.89. Its pressed steel and clips together, needs an extra vertical support putting on it to cope with the weight of the Z wheels, will be adding a timber vertical support front and rear to support the horizontal rails in the centre. For the money it is ok for the job and fitted the gap I have after removing an old flat pack wardrobe I had in its place.

Hi Dan. I'd be very interested to know what the Puma driving shoes are like. I've been toying with the idea of getting a pair of the all black ones (Cat 7 ?) to replace my very old and tatty OMP shoes. Always wear them if I'm driving for more than an hour or so. The tread on the soles is starting to wear a bit thin now but they're so light and comfy

These are the Cat 7 Si. I've never had a pair of shoes designed for driving, but all these epic Welsh drives are giving me some pain from all the heal toe action so thought I would give them a shot. I'll let you know how I get on with them mate.
