Cars milsage is around 88,000
Doing them now as it is now SORNED for winter
Looks like I will be adding a lot of other bits to the list. Due to the ball joints resisting removal they will all need replacement (rubber covers damaged.) including the track rod ends. So all the front suspension bushes and ball joint and ARB bushes will be changed while it is in bits
Engine mounts perishing (starting to perish)
Cross member paint or powder coat, light rust in the exposed places
Oil pump as recommended my Mr Vanos
Great work. Those bearings look alright for 90k too - only a tiny bit of copper visible.
I’d love to sort the surface rust on the front crossmember - it looks horrible when you hang shiny new bits off it! The only concern would be that it’s a box section with quite complicated internal shapes around the welded mounting points. Are you getting it internally coated or treated too? Might be worth seeing how the likes of Redish etc do it as I’d imagine this is routine for them.
I can recommend Vibra-Technics mounts if you’re going to replace yours.
