Definitely not local, but I'm in Cambridge CB22 and can program key for you should you even find yourself nearby. I even have a spare diamond blanks (inc transponder and remote) for £10

DLV can also code and cut keys - another great forum user who'll be happy to help

What have you done to your car today?

This afternoon was spent replacing bonnet badge (what a pita even going through grills!).

Then I removed the GM5 unit to send of to company via ebay, hopefully to fix the drivers door not unlocking via remote.

Lastly since I bought this 2003 3.0 last year and had read a lot on here about the DISA failing, I thought I should take a peek even though there was no noticeable noise. Well it is certainly in need of repair, part of it looks melted. The pin was in situ but easily pulled out, the plate freely moves too, so have gone with the aluminium repair fix via X8R.

Looking forward to getting the GM5 and disa repair kit back so I can hopefully tick those ones off. Bowser134 relocated my roof motor last week, excellent job. He found the oil reservoir on the motor was very low and topped it up which resulted in a much smoother open and close on the roof.

It really helps me having this forum. I'm always using search as way to find things out, so a big thank you to everyone that has in the past written how to's and answered others questions.

I just released it via the rear catches but could remove all the bits with the airbag still connected so not much drama

The AK90+ ?? If so that's what both me and DLV have (unless DLV now has a better way of doing it, I don't remember)

But the AK90+ is great, does the job well. Done about 20 now with it, from memory I only had 1 transponder chip not work properly, put that down to an iffy chip and not the unit itself.

Edit: Just seen your earlier post. The AK90+ is perfect

Well worth the investment in my opinion
