Because I was undecided and if i don't like it I can get a powerflow put on for £100.

They suggested straight pipes so only fair of then to offer that really.

Finally got myself some aero skirts, and would you believe in sterling grey! Also arranged for the front aero bumper as well as the facelift rear one I have and the light surrounds to be painted next week.. Not going for an aero rear bumper or spoiler as not my cup of tea..

I coated all the window/door/boot seals with Swissvax 'Seal Feed Fluid'. I bought a bottle 2 years ago and it should last another 6. It makes such a difference to the seals, makes them supple, stops cracking and brings them back to black. They will continue to 'do their job' for many years. I do this once every 6 months to all cars that I have owned, old or new. 'Seal Feed Fluid' is very expensive, but worth it to me. A cheaper (and I am told OK alternative) is tyre dressing.
I used to have two boys and a girl. Now I have two Men and a Woman. :?

After pondering why my wipers seemed to be parking high, and having cleaned the grease off the motor, I had an idea that a worn relay might be the cause. After all, consider how much use the on/off switch on a wiper relay gets.

So I had a poke around and sure enough its a factory part, 2003 date code. Swapped it with the fog light relay next to it and, voila! Wipers now park correctly at the bottom of the screen. Can't see the fog lights remaining on 0.5 seconds after the switch is pressed being an issue, so just left the relays as they are. If it ever does need replacing I've now got a manufacturer part code so no need to pay BMW prices (apparently Volvo use the identical part too, but sell cheaper...)

New oil and filter change plus gearbox oil and filter change all done, discovered a slight oil leak on the driver axle, not what I wanted to find 3 weeks before France

Anyone replaced a seal on the drive axle before?
