Tbh I used a carbon effect on the roadster, which when new looked great, but as I use it more as protection for the lower bumper....even though I do like the look...I think the black will last longer, the carbon effect is fubared now.greg81 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 13, 2018 9:26 pmThanks for that. You can out it anywhere on the car.
Saves lots if kerb damage.
And it's also easy to change.

Finally finished fitting wezmoto brakes lines, replaced 3 sets of calipers and various brackets. Touch of rust treatment along the way too!

Amazing how much a few wheel badges and m stickers refresh a tired looking wheel!

Found out today that my roof goes up with the key fob, only taken a year to find out. Am I right in thinking on an 04 plate this is either coding or a gaptech??

Got my Z4 E85 Roadster 2.5i 2003 for almost a year now, today I have installed AUX 2 0.22 microF resistors and one capacitor 300K Ohm. Sound from factory audio setup is quite good.
My car needs alot of work, so Ill be updating here frequently.

Replaced the Bridgestone DriveGuard run-flats, applied by the previous owner, with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Not a proper test of the full capabilities of the tire, however....
Were these tires a life-changing experience on the Z4M? Did I feel as though I was cushioned by melted marshmallows? Was I transported to the world of precision blandness as exemplified by the Boxster (apologies).
No, to all of the above, BUT the tires did eliminate much of the sharp, jittery, suspension responses to road imperfections that chipped my teeth and left my hands with carpel tunnel syndrome. Overall, an excellent improvement to the drivability of the M.
