Yes, Try the reset. Sport mode amplifies the problem, in my experience.wonkydonkey wrote: ↑Thu Jun 14, 2018 7:35 pmMine can be a bit of a pig in first/second gear coming back on the throttle from zero throttle. It's as though I'm stamping my foot down with the finesse of a donkey's hind hoof sometimes, kangarooing around (worst in Sport mode). I must try this reset.ionofchios wrote: ↑Thu Jun 14, 2018 3:57 pmThen I read about adaptive throttle reset. Did that this morning and lurching seems to be gone, plus no more waiting for the CDV to engage, and things are smoother and faster in lower gears.
Basically, CDV and adaptive throttle are 2 systems that should never have been in the car in the first place. Anyone know how to turn off adaptive throttle permanently? Can it be coded off?

Can't be coded out but could be re-mapped out on the ECU with an experienced tuner. 99% of people don't have an issue with adaptive throttle though I suspect.ionofchios wrote: ↑Thu Jun 14, 2018 8:05 pm Basically, CDV and adaptive throttle are 2 systems that should never have been in the car in the first place. I've got into the habit of using sport mode now, which uses a much more linear throttle map and doesnt adapt itself, much better feeling of control.

Yeah, that makes sense. After the throttle reset it was much better the following day. Then, this morning, a bit lurchy again, but not as bad. Then cleared itself up after a few miles. Seems to be fine in sport mode and normal mode at the moment. Maybe there is something else that needs attention - I had no issues for the first 6 months. Wonder if refreshing clutch fluid would help.mjennings23 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 15, 2018 12:07 pm I've got into the habit of using sport mode now, which uses a much more linear throttle map and doesnt adapt itself, much better feeling of control.

Certainly wouldn't hurt, I'd advise you just do the brakes with it, seeing as they share the same reservoir. 2 birds one stone and all that

Just drained all the coolant so I can replace the radiator which was deformed at the top and leaking. I have taken a few picks so when I figure out how to get them up I will post. Wasn't too bad a job. The new rad is in and everything is connected. The drain plug for the block did not get removed as I could just not get anything on to it.

Wipers fixed. Best £3.98 I could spend on eBay. Can recommend i6 to anyone. They also do the DISA repair kits which I had done on the roadster last year.
