I put me new wheels on. Got back from Nottingham though and had to start the car with jump leads. :(

Added some led footwell lights, bmw in their infinite wisdom didn't provide any wiring on my 2006 facelift so I bought some led's off ebay for £5.99 + fusetap for a quid and hardwired them in. I now have footwell lights in a range of colours including a good match for the bmw orange, which can be changed with the remote and can be set to change with music....lol Can be switched off or on whilst driving, I prefer driving with them on but with the intensity dimmed....pics at full intensity.

I will be doing a little post once I receive the bits and had a look at them in person. And i will include his contact details.
I am a friend of a friend so not sure if i got a much better deal or not? But i paid less than a royal steering wheel trim for all the bits and that’s with the wheel being trimmed.
My little blue zed is in lots of bits. With lots of things started and not many finished! I may have found the limits of my time and ability!!

Not today, but yesterday. The weather might have been bloody cold but blue skies and dry roads were to much to resist! Far to good to leave my Zed locked away in its garage all day.
Went for a 120 mile blast around Surrey & Sussex, ended up at Littlehampton on the south coast. So nice to get out when the weather, kind of, behaves itself. :)

Washed and put away in the garage until we get some more sunshine.

Took it to a detailer for a power polish to get rid of scratches etc, price was much lower than expected so wasn't expecting much. did a "so so" job. Won't go back. A couple of days later I ran into a supercar detailer (in Duncan, BC of all places... at a coffee meet at the Motorsport Track)
He started rambling on about $14,000 wax in an 8oz tub, he uses it :o . He offered to do one panel for free and the whole car might be $300 - 350 if I like the first panel work. I think I'll go see him in the summer and give it a shot. (he's a retired PHD (Physics) and does this for fun and it helps his ADD, when he rambled some more about measuring the thickness of the wax in microns etc I said to myself "Yep , your a physicist " :D :D
Sold the Z4 M Roadster and a 911 Carrera S now I have a 2021 Z4 3.0i

First time I've ever bothered to get wheels refurbed, to be honest! Still need to seal the rear 2 and paint rear calipers and brake hubs, had enough of sitting out in the cold after washing the car and doing the front wheels!

Was going over to my mother's - sun was shining so decided to take my Z4!

Had a little "play" with an S2000 on the way home - didn't realise they were quite that quick! :o
