MOT today and she passed :D :D :D :D 1 advisory front offside brake pad wear which can be sorted later this year when serviced :D

Was a relief as i start jury service Monday so would have been a real pain trying to get the car sorted and re tested had she failed.

Started it up and let it run for a bit with the heater on full blast, as the inside of the windscreen had tons of condensation. Then mopped up the water in the boot again :headbang: really need to sort out where the leak is.

Can't do much else as the clutch is fried, so although it runs fine, it can't be moved without a push

Needs a wash, hoover and a cover on it for now. It's taking up valuable driveway space aswell, so I'll need to figure out what I want to do with it soon.

Have you check your roof motor. Water will make its way into the cabin and boot if its blocked? Could explain the condensation.

It probably is the drain holes that are blocked, causing the drains to fill up and overflow into the boot, as on both sides of my boot, those little pocket areas were full with water :headbang:

I'll have to move the car away from the bushes so I can access both sides and clear the drain holes and hope that sorts it. If not, I don't really know

If this isnt the problem check the 3rd brake light for cracks or chips and that the seal is good.water gets in here runs down the underside of the boot lid and drips out in the sides where the little cubby holes are.

Looking tasty mate! Remind was black an option for the wheels originally? If not how much was it to get them done?

Look like from photos that the drivers side rear brake line could do with being changed while it is easy to do, I can see the near side has been done already

Not done yet, but these arrived. Plan is to sand down and spray either gloss, matt or satin black, can't decide!

Will be doing the steering wheel silver parts to match, along with recovering.

Anyone got them in satin or matt black I can see? Think gloss will show fingerprints too much
