In the rad/engine cover?

These thing quite often end up a labour of love, and due to having a proper day job I can do them at a good price compered to the one offered from a company in the USA and they did not fill in the hole (why when they say they developed a mould)

So the cost or price would end up around the £125 to £150 which if you work it back I make about £40 for my trouble.

Fitted a new battery. In retrospect, what I removed must've been on its last legs. No idea if it was the original cell (an exide?), but the difference is night and day now.

It may well have been the original as Exide are US based and that's where our Z4s were made.

My 2nd Coupe needed a new one after 10 years and the original was an Exide, so that's what it got as a replacement!
Coupes because stunning!

Answering my own question on this “slot” - it looks like it’s for the “Hotel switch” available only on American models I believe (but quite retrofit-able if you were so inclined!) 😎

Still don’t know what the other plug is for though.

Pulled the cluster out, cleaned it all up, and encased the super master inconvenient beeper in double sided foam tape.

Dropped the car off at its second home ( Race By Design ) to have some more extras added.

Window tints - Windscreen banner - Gtechniq Roof Treatment. Pretty sure the first two will be controversial LOL... :D

Either way cant wait to pick it up again once its all finished!

Isn’t that a fire risk from the board heating up?

Fitted a genuine ZHP gear knob and plugged in my new Carly adapter. Cleared some ancient faults and then coded a load of things that I can’t believe weren’t switched on by default.

Slightly annoyed that I couldn’t get the live data to work on Carly

Fitted some spacers today - 25mm rear & 20mm front. I know this is slightly higher than what seems to be most popular on here (20 / 15). If there's any issues with rubbing in the coming weeks I'll be changing them though. I'm happy with them, gives it a much more aggressive look :D Excuse the dirt, will be getting a good clean soon!

@CryptoWhale. Looks good. One pic looks a bit too aggressive for me but the others looks fine.
