What have you done to your car today?

Fitted my (new to me) refurb'd 224's. These have taken over a year to reach me so am mighty pleased to have them on. Now just have to see if I can sell the old 5 series 17" wheels & tyres that have been on the Z4 since I bought it.
Pics will follow once the weather clears up a bit - pretty grey and dreary at the moment.

Easy job I expect with standard bushes :)
Can seem to find a guide on here - any pointers?
Mark the 3 bolts holding the arm in place before you take them out. I lightly sprayed mine with some grey primer the day before so I could get that back in the same place. Just so the alignment wasn't well out for when I rove to the garage to have to set properly again.

I used a core drill to drill straight through the old bush, then used a reciprocating saw to but the outer bush and it then came out with a few taps.

To get the new bush in use some threaded bar, 2 prices of steel and 2 nuts.

Where are you based?

So after a bit of prying and re glueing the new one was fitted in about 30s. Why aren't all lights that simple to swap out. :D
Are you sure it was an 80 pound difference for a badge? Crazy
Prices were all over the place on fleebay. You could get just the badge for £40. But yes the only complete unit I spotted in my brief search was £100 and the brand new unbadged part I bought was £22.39 with free shipping from Lithuania. :D

Fished the 103's out of the garage to see how a17" square set up would feel, now I've only gone and lost the locking wheel nut!
Plus the run flats are horrid, crashy things that will come off for winter tyres come the time.
