As I'm not a smoker, I brought my car more up to date with a Twin USB / Voltmeter unit in place of the cigarette lighter. I chose one with an on/off button as the power wire is always live.

After quite a bit of dremmel use, it fits perfectly.

Thanks.
It is a bit bright at night so I think I'll add a bit of tinting film to it.

I got a cheapo "Challenge Xtreme" corded rotary tool about 12 years ago, and £ per use it's the single best purchase I've ever made. Still as good as the day I bought it.

Back on topic, I'd like to do this myself but would still want to retain the 12v socket for compressors etc. My W204 AMG Merc has one in the glove box which is handy so might get creative and stick one in there, with USB in this location... :hattip: < thinking cap

We're all car guys so I'm being descriptive! :)

Having a genuine Dremel, now that's bragging...

Same here, I use a tyre pump. Hopefully less now that I've tightened a couple of valves.

I have a usb socket wired from my aftermarket stereo but Zulu's digital voltmeter looks pretty trick! Plus it has an extra USB port.

Fitted my wheel spacers today, 12mm front, 18mm rears
Really pleased with the look, makes it look more aggressive and lower weirdly

Decided to pull the cd multi changer out as it wasn’t working surprise surprise and was wondering what CD’s the previous owner might have listened to before it jammed.

After half an hour removing the changer there wasn’t any cd’s in the damn thing. 😂

On the plus side I have saved weight and pulled the bluemusic bluetooth adapter from the boot into the storage compartment so at least it is now easier to access if I ever need to remove or replace it.

The main trimming was to enlarge the hole as the diameter is a few mm larger than the cigarette lighter. Also, the retaining nut on the back slightly fouls the casing so that got trimmed.
