What have you done to your car today?
Today, I have disassembled and cleaned the Air channels and cup holders, fixed the spring on the left cup holder( was not in place) and fixed the fitment of the front bumper (sides broken) so now its all hooked up, and the grill was refitted with a bunch of zip ties( speed bumps and bumpy roads, managed to destroy all what keeps it in place) also cleaned the spotlights, those halogens are quite nasty and produce a lot of heat! now the car looks WAY bettter!

The car had a bad O2 sensor, so I got that swapped out.... while I was at it I got an oil change and new spark plugs
Also took the opportunity to fit these...
Porsche Boxster S brembos and E46 M3 CSL discs
Unfortunately my rear brake upgrade didn’t quite go as planned

I'm pretty sure they would & no spacers required .ErrErrminator wrote: ↑Sun Jul 15, 2018 10:18 pmLove the look of those. Price seems keen, especially with good rubber included. Would these go on my E85 2.5i SE on sport springs, not lowered? Spacers required?mr wilks wrote: ↑Sun Jul 15, 2018 6:15 pmYep they are / were a classic but so hard to find now as a set of 4 undamaged or that aren't ridiculously priced .
Not unusual to see £400 asks for shabby sets needing refurb & rubber , £650/£850 for decent sets ( genuine )
Asking £450 for mine totally unmarked with quality rubber
I had style 296 19s on my 2.5se ( stock springs) & the fronts of those are 8j et29 .
Not sure where you are located but you're welcome to try a side on your car to be sure

Mine went a few weeks ago, the starter motor is actually pretty easy to replace if you fancy getting your hands greasy. New starter is about £90 from EuroCarParts and takes about an hour to do (even for a novice like me). Theres a decent guide in the how to section.
Thought it worthwhile mentioning, I know the excess is cheaper than doing it yourself but if you wanted to save a premium hike or something in future if it works like that?

I claimed on the parts and garage 4 times in one year, once on the Z and 3 times on the van. Maxed them out every-time and paid a bit on top myself.
Never got a price hike, in fact I let the AA cover expire due to being lazy and received a 'reminder' which was £60 cheaper than the year before. Figure that one out, lol.
Generally I'll do the work if it's not covered by the AA, otherwise I'd sooner let them get on with it

I had a re-trimmed steering wheel fitted by Jack at royal steering wheels, very impressed by the quality.

A long way from Lancs, or Normandy. Way down in Somerset, although I’m heading up to see Mike at Zed Shed in three weeks.mr wilks wrote: ↑Mon Jul 16, 2018 9:42 amI'm pretty sure they would & no spacers required .ErrErrminator wrote: ↑Sun Jul 15, 2018 10:18 pmLove the look of those. Today I have received the Temperature sensor, the old one did not exist so I got this listing off of ebay and it worked like a charm (https://www.ebay.com/itm/For-BMW-658169 ... 2749.l2649) now my temperature shows on the dash, it was at -40 C always.
zip tied it next to the left spotlight.
I have the Right Lights not working, will be fixing that before tomorrow.

Coded open/close roof on keyfob, what a waste of time, very erratic, it buggered up one touch close drivers window as well, which I thought was a different module. Will be changing back!!
