Made sure the Ctek was keeping the battery in good condition. Will worn it at the end of the month so dying to get it out as much as possible before November arrives.

Got some new door card clips and threw them on the passenger seat. Going to tint the windows and fit sound deadening to the doors, so will fit new clips then.

Thoroughly cleaned inside & out. Went on a short 30 miles or so run some of that with the roof down as the sun came out :driving: . Bit cold but great fun :D . Once back home pumped the tyres up to 42psi, put her in the garage, connected the Ctek, fitted the car cover & SORN'd her :( . That's it until March 1st :| . Just bought a new X1 so that'll be the drive through the winter months.
Zedless :(

Preparing replacement oem rear springs. I was lucky enough to be given some used rear springs as my current ones are rusted, and an advisory! Quick rub down, rust treatment and spray today; all ready for fitting!

My MR2 suddenly stopped warming up over summer and as it's our winter toy, I decided I better check the thermostat. This is what I found, well past it's sell by date. New one fitted and we now have our cosy rocket back again

Yesterday i gave it a full clean, clay, polish and wax and then stuck the hardtop back on for the winter.

I've been putting the hard top on for the last month but everytime i thought about it, the weather perked up for a few more days of roof down weather

On a separate note I thought I'd try one of these out.

Not taken the car out yet. Will be sorting a cold feed out as soon as I fit one of Dan's scoops.

Just had precautionary oil, filters and spark plug service at local BMW indie - Linwar motors in Southport. Great service and really knowledgeable. Recommended I should get components underneath cleaned and sealed to prevent further corrosion. looks like that will be my next job - anyone tackled this job?

What have you done to your car today?

The two latest things I did to my E85, 2004 last week. 1. I added a Back Up camera. The camera mounts on top the rear license plate and wired it to the back up light in the trunk. The camera connects to the included monitor wireless so I did not have to run wires from the back to the front of the car. The monitor is powered by plugging it into the cig lighter. 2. I installed a Mp3 connector. The kit came with a factory plugin that fit into the back of the radio. The Mp3 receptacle fits into the cig ashtray.

Here are two pictures of the New center console and the back up camera. The console is made by a fellow on EBAY for the Z4. It fits in so that it doesn't interfere with the hand brake or back storage door. The back up camera is mounted on the top of the rear license plate. Its wireless so I did not have to run a wire from the camera to the monitor in the car.

Any chance of some photos of the finished mods? Always interested to see how others add bits to their Z4's
