Happy days. Just thought I'd ask if it was linked to sticky steering. Evidently not :)
I have been running this thread about the problem

Took it to be MOT'd, passed with no advisories as I'd expected given it's pampered!

I noticed I was getting the knock from the front end at low speed and on uneven roads (most of the bloody country) so tightened the brace bars under the bonnet. It's cured the knocking, the nuts need to be really tight.

What did you use ?
Thanks, I'm really happy with the results. Process was as follows:
1. Dodo Juice Supernatural leather cleaner applied using a microfibre cloth.
2. Damp microfibre used to wipe away any residue.
3. Scratch Doctor Leather Colour Restorer applied using a microfibre cloth.
4. Colour restorer buffed off after 5 mins.
5. Leather conditioner applied using a microfibre cloth.
6. Conditioner buffed off after 15 mins.
Thanks mate. Mine look quite similar to yours before you treated them. I'll get some Scratch Doctor and follow your instructions. Cheers, Si

Fitted a Grom USB3 media device in the boot. Was extremely easy to fit, simply plugged into the CD changer plugs and fits neatly behind the center console. Passed the USB extension cable that was supplied with the kit through to the cubby hole.

The view from the boot. They supplied a long loom which was difficult to get tucked neatly into the space available...

Good good! It was £10.95 on eBay from "thescratchdoctor". It's important that a leather cleaner is used first to strip everything away before applying the colour restorer. The cleaner I went for cost £12.75.

I think I applied the conditioner a bit too soon after the colour restorer (immediately after buffing the restorer off) as the cloth was removing black dye when I buffed the conditioner off. When I do the passenger seat I'll leave an hour between the colour restorer and the conditioner.

MACK wrote: Wed May 16, 2018 10:40 pm I've got my parrot mki9100 screen permanently mounted in the same place. I mounted the controller to the back of power socket/lighter blank plug. I store it in the glove box when not in use and then slot it in to the lighter socket when I'm in the car. It looks neat and the best bit is with the controller stowed in the glovebox and the ashtray flap hiding the screen, nothing is on display
I did it for the same reason. Mine was already hardwired, so I just moved it. I pulled out the fag holder and popped out the illumination window, leaving a hole just big enough to pass through the PCB of the dismantled connector.

I've been extra busy tonight:

I removed the carbon wrap that was on the dashboard fascias when I bought the car:

Retro fit cruise control, was pleased with my cutting.

I also hardwired in a Garmin sat nav cable (not pictured, but red rocker switch) and added some USB charging (left of picture, connected to blue switch). The reason for the switch is that I thought the LED on the charging socket might annoy me, and by complete coincidence ended up mirroring the ///M badge (which will have to go).

Has anyone else fitted switches there? There are 20mm circles just waiting to be drilled out, again a complete coincidence.

After the pictures were taken I also changed all the interior lights for better LEDs.

I also changed the driver's cup holder.

Not bad for a little after work session.

Were the failures on the EPS motor, if so, did you get it repaired at ecu testing or just get 2nd hand one ?
