Great shot, lovely car, fab scenery. Got to be a worthy entry into the April photo comp.

philipw wrote: Thu Apr 18, 2019 7:24 pm You will also notice the alignment is far from OE. This was done on purpose and the settings applied following much research from Z Post and threads on here. The main benefit I noticed from these settings is the front end is more eager to turn in and I can feel the seat pushes into my hip when cornering (as strange as it sounds!) The rear just feels like it is helping the car to turn.
We’re the “initial” settings actually the starting point or was this the final tweak? Looks like some rear toe was taken out, but you had a fair amount less than stock to start with.
The initial settings were the starting point, the alignment was all over the place due to the suspension/RTAB's being just fitted.
I maxed out the front camber to 1.6 when I fitted the replacement struts. Rear camber was targeted to be 1 and less than the front following recommendations from other forums and on here.
Front toe is set to 0.01 degrees toe in and rear toe is set to 0.03 degrees toe in.

That sounds good. I recently fitted new bushes with limiters but wasn’t as brave with the rear toe or camber. I can believe it feels like it wants to turn now!

I am happy with it so far but haven't pushed it that hard so no idea how it will react to oversteer, hopefully it won't be too crazy!
The main difference I noticed when comparing it against stock alignment + suspension is the improved turn in and I haven't noticed understeer building up as much as it did before. I imagine I will need to fiddle with the toe/camber settings again as I get more used to it.

I installed this BMW Z4 E85 / E86 OEM Cupra R Front Spoiler Lip this week. I'm pretty happy with the results.

Not strictly today but this week, 1200 miles done on a road trip and very impressed with the car averaging 33mpg. Not bad for a 3 litre 6 pot lump I must say!

Love the mirror caps, but could you share a photo of how they look from the other side, e.g showing the mirror glass and the edges of the cap? Thanks.

Continued in my quest to get her summer 2019 ready, a clean of all the seals and rubber that i could find and a bit of a wipe down. Only a few scratches to buff out and she is good to go! Also an excuse to stick a pic up. :D

Probably should take her out for a drive this weekend :driving:
