The first Z4 I test drove had the M Sport seats, and although they held me in well, they don't have the adjustability that the M3 seats offer. As you say, they happen to cost several times what I bought the M3 seats for, so it was a no-brained for me
glad you found a set I love my m3 seats both sets they offer great comfort and adjustability just wish I could find a good answer to the seatbelt retainer think I could maybe design something and then find someone to maybe 3D print a pair definitely a work in progress
Don’t know if it’ll help but I fitted some genuine GM seat belt guides to my M3 seats and am very happy with them. The part numbers are 10386174 & 10385983. I just needed to drill some new holes to accommodate the headrest poles of the M3 seats and they then just slide on.

I did also try some genuine BMW seat belt holders from a Mini but they were cr@p :(

Unfortunately I can’t take any photos of the ones fitted in my Zed at the moment, but this will give you an idea of what they look like.

I picked mine up 2nd hand but I think they are also available new on eBay.

davros I read your reply to another thread and looked these up a few weeks ago. They seem like a nice straightforward solution though they are a bit pricey once postage is considered. The eBay reviews for the Mini items were enough to send me looking elsewhere

Yeah, I’ve just seen the postage prices on eBay....ouch 😬
Don’t know if the R/H and L/H ones could be purchased from the same supplier to halve the postage?

I was really lucky with mine and managed to get a 2nd hand set a lot cheaper, but don’t think they come up too often.

Mind you, I wish I’d looked at the bad reviews for the mini ones before I bought them. They were hopeless ☹️

Good luck. I’ll keep my fingers crossed the shippings not too expensive 🤞

They do make a big improvement and I no longer get the seat belt trying to cut my head off

One of my headlights was a little yellow. I have seen far worse but I thought I would polish it up. i used the 3M kit. I keep the car in an open barn with a soft cover over it but it has been so windy I have had the cover off for a week or so. The car was now covered with muck so a clean was in order.

Yes I know a wheel stud is missing.

And after. You can see which car gets all the cleaning :D
Whilst cleaning i found the rear 3d brakelight was breaking up so i have ordered one and that will be the next job.

Had a new Water-pump installed - nothing wrong with old one, but 12 years old so preventative maintenance. I'm keeping the car, so peace of mind.

Drove 120 miles around the Lincolnshire Wolds on empty roads. Washed her, and back in bed. Great day.

Front camber seems the same in the sheets (give or take 0.02 degrees or so). How much did kwik fit charge you? Need to get mine done again. Car feels all over the place :headbang:
