Worth mentioning at this point , using your own "feel" tighten the bolts then leave for 24hrs then go back & re tighten . I always found a extra "nip " was possible & even worth doing again .Simon 3.0si wrote: ↑Thu May 24, 2018 8:12 pm Started to put the newly refurbed 108's back together.

Some use the original torque but these wheels + bolt threads can be aged so not the same as when new & over tightening can strip the thread of the barrel

Cheers pal. There's no rush to build them as I'm a fan of tighten, settle and tighten. I want to make sure they are fully seated and run true before I either fit them or sell them.

There are other surface protection coatings other than paint that don’t have the same thickness nor flexibility.
Two painted faces isn’t the best mechanical interface.

Wife and kids are away for the weekend so the zed is getting special treatment over the next few days.
Big plans...
1. Thorough clean inside and out
2. Full re-wrap of interior including all dash and center console
3. Caliper refurb
Made a start on the wrap tonight. Coming on well so far...

Thinking of going back to the whippy on the coupe, it works fine on the toaster, but reception is so hit and miss on the Coup. Gutted as I love the look. Any other "shorter" options with better reception?

Nope, but it's not as constant on the Coupe as was on the Roadster, drops off more often. I know as listen to same station on same route most days, gym, work, home and lose signal more on the Coupe ...Used whippy and stubby on both cars btw.Darkangelv2 wrote: ↑Fri May 25, 2018 10:09 pmDo you listen to AM radio still?
