Re: Location of aux input
It isn't factory fitted as standard. The accessory instructions say the gove box but i've fitted it to the horizontal panel above the ash tray so I can reach the ipod (in the ash tray) to skip tracks. The lead is long enough to reach the centre storage box between the seats if you want it there.

Re: Location of aux input
Hi there,
the aux input is standard on 06 models onwards. I had trouble finding it at first, but eventually I did. It is located in the panel directly above the ashtray (i.e the panel underneath the heater controls)
Hope this makes sense!
Thanks

Correct, 07 models only.
If fitted as an extra in an 06 model, they fitted it in the glove box.

I've got a June '07 Coupe and no connection, would be interested to know if it can be retrofitted and at a reasonable price....

Re: Location of aux input
Very simple installation, about £50 in parts. If you do a search, some have done this. Just a note for the UK owners - the Mini part numbers referred to in the threads do not exist in the UK, just get the BMW part instead.

Re: Location of aux input
it wasn't standard on my 07 M. Anyway its an easy retrofit - takes about 10mins.

Re: Location of aux input
That is strange, as it is definately standard on the 07 M (as per brochure and I have it). You sure your is not a 06 model sold in 07?
