I am of course joking, both have their merits. If you've owned a roadster for some time why not try something different - ie a coupe. If you don't like it in 12 months time then just trade in again!

As for cabin space, I'm 6 foot I don't have any problems in mine, and that's with the sports seats, although I do have the seat as far back as it goes. I think I'm right in saying the coupe has slightly more cabin height than the roadster (obviously only with roof up - otherwise it's unlimited!).
Would love to try a Coupe one day but I really am unable to imagine life worth living without my Z4MR....

I tried but no.... one must have a roadster in one's life, sorry!

Some people like Bluefin Tuna and others prefer fried Cod (with the top cut of). It's just a matter of taste. :)

Just bought a red 2007 Coupe. Would not consider a roadster here in wet Oregon. And on the various forums, roadster owners seem to have lots of roof problems. Coupes seem very rare out here. But beautiful.

Coupe all day every day. I would be biased though.. something about that enclosed hunkered down feel I love... unless we’re talking about a folding metal roof. As long as driver dynamics don’t suffer, I’d consider folding hardtops.

Would have bought an e89 had it not been for the not so great driver dynamics compared to an e86...

There are many roadsters but few coupes
The best way to get your money back would be via the coupe (should you need to sell)
Many roadsters, in general have a slightly generic appearance, but the coupe is truly a unique looking car
I purchased my coupe 5 months ago, given the options I had, I have not for a moment ever regretted the decision
There are only 250 in the country so they are a rare sight on the road.
They certainly get the looks and passing bids :D

BMW E36 318is Coupe (sold to buy M3)

I think you've missed a 0 out - the UK got more like 2,500 Coupes. Mind you that is still quite a low number!

A forum member put this database together - it lets you while away hours playing with different colours and options!

It doesn't work as a link - just copy and paste it into your browser:- http://perso.numericable.fr/tonyz4c

I'm tall (6'4") with a coupe and it's got plenty of space, legroom and headroom. Just get the seat set up right and you shouldn't have any problems. Unless you're 7'5"...
