What Wheels are these…?

Post by Bilko » Tue Nov 21, 2023 12:41 am

Saw these very nice looking wheels on a nice looking Zed on Autotrader, Zachary's ad variously describes them as 108s or 135s, but I'm thinking not - my 135s don't look like that.

Maybe 178s? Though to me they look more symmetrical where the spokes meet the centre than Style 178s.

Anyone got any ideas?

They clearly fit on a coupe so if I knew what they were maybe I could find some to fit onto mine :-)

here's the link https://www.autotrader.co.uk/car-detail ... sj&fromsra

and here's a screenshot

Hmm. the link doesn't lead me anywhere. Is it possible to attach a picture to the thread?

That link doesn’t work but on his Instagram he lists them as Quantum alloys. I’d imagine he has just copied and pasted the description as he specialises in selling the Z4

Thanks both, I've added the link (properly this time) and a screen grab too, though Doddsy beat me to it

Hmm… can't find a Quantum or Q44 or Momo Quantam that quite matches those - too many spokes or too fussy a spoke pattern and that's all the wheel brands with Quantum in their name that Google will give me.

The wheels are called:

Quantum44 S1

18x 8.0 et37
18 x 9.0 et40

Gun Metal is the colour of the wheels, not really anywhere to buy new but this website lists them, however they are out of stock:

https://www.vipmotorsport.co.uk/Quantum44-S1

A website in the Netherlands:

https://www.wheeloutlet.nl/Quantum44-S1 ... 5x120.html

Yet another cheap Chinese wheel, which isn't cheap by the time you buy it.
All good things come to those who wait. I'm really impatient which explains a lot.

To be fair they're cheaper than the set Zachary is selling …although his free car is nicer

Have you ever took a second to even think about what you are about to post ?
I've had a couple of sets of Quantum alloy & they are extremely well crafted , far better than the majority of wheels Bmw send their cars out of the factory with .

Thanks for the link to that Dutch site, Usel. They might actually have them, would be very tempted by a silver set
