Gloss or clear coat (sibergrau) 2006
Hey folks. Just a quickie just repaired my e85 bumper and it's all primed, noob question but my spray shop has clear coat or high gloss, which will match? I know I'll be cutting and polishing after lacquer either way. Just wandering which finish would match best with rest of car. Thanks in advance.

I think the norm is metallic base then clear top coat. At least that’s what I’ve been looking at

That sounds right.
I bought a genuine BMW touch up kit in Silver Grey and there was one can of metallic base and one of clear lacquer.
