Mile Stone Reached 05 E85

Post by rdm05z4 » Mon Jul 26, 2021 10:28 pm

Greetings , Coming back from a weekend trip (Family Reunion) in my Zed I had to pull over and document this moment. Prior to the drive which was aprox 1200 miles round trip. Just to be safe I had the dealer do a complete top to bottom inspection. Yes I know "stealer dealer" but for the extra $$$ wanted assurances. Still has original clutch and Vanos CCV just done. (previous owners changed oil every 3-5k. Anyway thought would share how bullet proof these cars are if looked after. Think this car will be one to pass down thru family!!! It's a keeper.

Very impressive.

But mileages like that aren't uncommon your sode of the Pond. Here in the UK people seem to panic when cars get to 100K miles!

Enjoy the next 100,000. :driving:

Top effort. I'm always amazed when I attend meets over the UK, cars driven hard for 1k ish miles over a long weekend and not been on a meet where a breakdown has happened (touch wood). They are a well made machine
