Yes important to keep in mind there is a 70hp gain on the 3.0iZedebee wrote: ↑Sat Jul 24, 2021 7:59 amIt’s a kit for the “i” (M54) isn’t it, not the “Si” (N52)? The gains are comparable, therefore the non-M kit is better value.Dark Diggler wrote: ↑Sat Jul 24, 2021 7:38 am From a percentage gain for money spent the M kit seems far better value. The Si kit gives you an 11%power increase, the M gives 38% more.
Lol the price is hard to beat! Send me a message on anything really if your interested, even WhatsApp 00447428254442.
Got you, my mistake.Zedebee wrote: ↑Sat Jul 24, 2021 7:59 amIt’s a kit for the “i” (M54) isn’t it, not the “Si” (N52)? Well seems you found the answer lol!mmm-five wrote: ↑Sat Jul 24, 2021 2:04 pm I'm in.
Might as well take advantage of some COVID WFH savings and a very good discount to 'upgrade' a little. It was either this or a CSL intake & Alpha-N anyway, and that would have been over £2k.

I'm definitely tempted, but I'd like to know I've actually got a serviceable engine & upgraded clutch before I put any upgrades on it

Can I just verify that the S54 kit is specifically for the Z4M and not the e46 M3 - as I know some tuners offer a slightly different kit depending whether it's for Z4M or M3 S54...and the M3 one is usually the cheaper option.

Answered my own question as I've just found their parts list for both the e46 M3 and Z4M, and the basics are the same, but the mounting kits are different.
Parts/install instructions here - auf Deutsch natürlich.

Thanks for the update!lewis_jennings wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 9:05 am Big update from G power
They will now accept all sizes of m54 engines.
They will also accept e46 and e85 models.
Will update main post now as price has changed very slightly to suit
They only list 4 engines on their website, so it's probably safe to say they don't.Calps wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 12:43 pmThanks for the update!lewis_jennings wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 9:05 am Big update from G power

Probably obvious by it's absence, but I'll ask anyway - did they give any indication on whether the N52 engine would be possible?
Yes I asked them if they do.mmm-five wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 1:43 pmThey only list 4 engines on their website, so it's probably safe to say they don't.Calps wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 12:43 pmThanks for the update!lewis_jennings wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 9:05 am Big update from G power

I don’t think the n52 is as over-engineered as the other engines, they’d probably get fed up with customers calling to say their engine bay’s covered in magnesium shrapnel and oillewis_jennings wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 1:44 pmYes I asked them if they do.
Unfortunately they don't! I'm not sure why as I reckon it would do well
ESS do a N52 kit (for an additional 80-100bhp), but obviously is not part of this G-Power/Infinitas group buy (so will be about $5000 plus shipping, plus VAT)Smartbear wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 3:26 pmI don’t think the n52 is as over-engineered as the other engines, they’d probably get fed up with customers calling to say their engine bay’s covered in magnesium shrapnel and oillewis_jennings wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 1:44 pmYes I asked them if they do.

Thanks Lewis, I suspected as much, but appreciate you taking the time and effort to check nonetheless (and for starting this group buy in the first place).lewis_jennings wrote: ↑Fri Jul 30, 2021 1:44 pm Yes I asked them if they do.
