He’s received a lot of orders because of this thread & said anyone who has purchased off him & not received a partial refund for helping develop or sharing please get in touch because he wants to give a £2.50 refund for each order through the forum.

Future forum orders quote Z4forum when ordering & he’ll also do the clutch stop for £11 opposed to the £13.50 they're up for.
I've yet to fit mine but have purchased one due to this thread. I don't want the refund as more than happy to support small businesses. Appreciate the gesture though.

I fitted mine last week and it made a huge difference. Also from the same eBay shop. That, together with a CDV delete, Vibra-technics engine mounts and a ZHP knob make this is the best gear-changing experience I've ever experienced in a Z4. Not perfect but a vast improvement from stock.

Mine came yesterday. "Unscrewed" the oem part and simply screwed the replacement in. Fit is good. Thread is shorter than he oem one. Feels better having less pedal travel. The part feels strong but its quite lightweight - will be interesting to see how it copes.

Took the car out for a Sunday morning spin and I have to say this cheap fix has not made any difference for me. That's not to say the clutch stop is bad, but that I don't fully depress the clutch pedal anyway. Maybe for me it might be an m10 bolt that can be adjusted to suit my style and clutch biting point.
Please don't let my opinion put anyone off especially as this a cheap mod.

Time to raid the garage for spare bolts.

Fitted the revised thread version yesterday and took the car out for a run today. I have to say, I’d forgotten I’d done it until heading home so psychologically I may be making things up here, but it felt better/smoother with a little less travel to the stop, and think more so in stop start traffic actually.

Funny how the clutch stop mod gets rediscovered every few years, I bought this one back in 2014/15 and been very happy with it

I bought one and Alex messaged me to say he was a bit behind but was working on a new improved version.
I opted to wait for the new one and it arrived last week, it fits perfectly and has definitely improved shifting. Happy customer.

Can you post a pic of the improved version? I’d be annoyed if I got the older design haha

I only just got round to fitting the new one he sent me to try after the first didn’t fit. Fits perfectly now. Like others I don’t think it’s a game changer but just make the clutch feel sharper rather than so much dead space. Worth the £11!
