Upping the pressure from 26 all round will have helped on its own :lol:

    G29 M40i Thundernight with Ivory interior, all option packs (here for a while, hopefully :oops:)

    I went for my first spirited drive after having Bridgestone run flats that were on the car when I bought it replaced with PS5s. Vastly improved the tramlining to the point of not even noticing it on the drive. Eliminated completely, hard to say, but I certainly experienced a noticeable difference in handling and control. :thumbsup:

    Mazda MX5 NA, 1.8, red

    Apart from choosing cheap Chinese ditchfinders, I reckon Bridgestone Potenza runflats are quite possibly the worst tyres to fit on a zed. Having said that, I also think runflats are given a bad press (especially on this forum due to experiences with the OEM Bridgstones). I've recent experience of runflats on a Mini Cooper (Kumho), Cooper S (Pirelli), Mercedes GLA (Goodyear) without any issues - not even on a 2.5 E85 that was swapped to Hankook runflats earlier this year.

    So he fixed his issues by getting the wheel alignment done and getting his flat tyres pumped up? This is something that everyone should be doing regularly. Well the tyres part. Alignment should also be checked and adjusted every couple of years or after major suspension refreshes

    When the Z4 was launched no one mentioned poor handling or tram lining due to the run flats. Interestingly though the M was fairly heavily criticised for its poor ride quality but they didn’t actually come on run flats!
    So, my deduction is that over time something wears in the suspension that causes the problem. Probably rear trailing arm bushes as they are not easy to change

    Shock news...... sorting completely buggered wheel alignments and swapping out inappropriate wheels/tyres cures cars handling issues :lol:
