This looks stunning. One of my favourite E86’s on here for sure.

Precisely what I'm thinking. I'm considering whether I should try to find some in black (and replace everything), or stick with a per bolt basis sans paint.

I would just echo what so many others have said. The car looks stunning. Black paintwork and beautiful bronze wheels. It’s great when a plan comes together.

Ha, yes, it's in gear alright. The irony being that even though that's a flat surface, the handbrake would struggle to hold it in place. It certainly needs some attention!
Thanks Attilio, likewise I'm looking forward to seeing yours, hopefully with that beautiful lip installed as well.
Bonus points to you sir! An A-Team quote is always something to be cherished

Thought I'd check out your thread after the DSC sensor chat, lovely whip mate!

Lovely coupe Calps, the bronze alloys look great with the black paintwork, fair play. Hard to beat a black car when it’s all shiny and cleaned up
Is the GruppeM intake purely for sound and aesthetics (looks great) or is there some performance gains also?

Thanks ShootingBrake.ShootingBrake wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 4:10 pm Is the GruppeM intake purely for sound and aesthetics (looks great) or is there some performance gains also?
There's potentially a placebo effect that makes it "feel" a bit faster (perhaps "urgent" is a better description), with the sound it produces reinforcing that impression as well.
I'd guess it liberates another horse or two, but I'd be lying if I claimed that I could definitely feel any real power increase. That said, I don't doubt that it has set the stage for increases to be had, but I suspect that a remap and some exhaust changes would be needed to really to bring them to life.
