You used to be able to see from the V5 (UK thing). But it's all changed now to GDPR. You're only going to be able if you find some sort of an invoice with an customer address.
You could always try a facetime/whatsapp video call. If distance is a thing. We're all used to video meetings now. So that would be my call... then like mentioned previously get a feel for the owner, and whether they fill you with confidence about how it's been looked after.

Which would you buy, 2007 vs 2003
For me it would be the pre facelift. Better colour combo and upgrades. Also it looks nicer, the rear is just better!!
The m54 is a good engine with a better tone to it (personal opinion). The pre facelift sounds like it's been better maintained as well
Yes the face lift makes more power but for myself it's an obvious choice
