So after reading a few posts I decided to take the plunge as I have tried all halogen bulbs with little progress.

These work a treat.

These are the 5000k.

Ordered Sunday. Dispatched Monday and received Tuesday 22nd dec.

I have nothing to do with this site but merely reporting my experience.

See for yourself. Very easy to fit inside the headlights so no drilling required.

Look fantastic. I believe though that unless you change the lenses they’re illegal and will fail MOT?

Yes that may be a problem but it will have my original H7 bulbs for the MOT.

I’ve been driving in a lot of none illuminated area’s lately and the original set up is dangerous. I will carry my H7 bulbs in case of any lawful challenge too.

Ps. There are two different kits H7 for use with the projector lense and H7R for standard halogen

Good stuff. Depending on how well you know your tester you may want to also remove ballasts etc as well.

5000k is a good colour. I had a set on a Peugeot many moons again and it was just white enough without looking blue.

I didn’t want anything bling just useable light. Good quality kit on first impressions. Time will tell.

Just thought I would recommend on my experience as there are so many available without many reviews. Someone else on here recommended them but could not find it using my phone.

So tempted. I drive mainly unlit B roads to work and its awful during the dark nights. Do you have any pictures of how the ballast and wiring all gets tucked away?

As mentioned, with MOT concerns, would it be a quick job to switch out to standard bulbs or is the kit hidden so no-one would notice?

The kit is all tucked inside the housing but will be obvious to any expert. However it is literally 10 mins aside to swap out so no drama

I think this is the kit I installed 3 years ago - still going strong and a massive improvement on the standard setup.

Do they come with retaining bars that then lock the h7 bulbs in the holders?

I also made sure the return bar of the bulb was on the top so no shadow is caused by it. This was recommended by another forum member.
