Its an app that uses a plug in obd connector and your phone / tablet to read faults and do coding. do a google search for carly for bmw but many members have one

It's quite a common issue on Z4s. I had to have both rear brake pipes replaced on my 2nd one when it was 10 years old after getting advisories for 2 years running.

It's not straight-forward as the BMW brake pipes are pre-formed so you have to drop the fuel tank to get the driver's side one routed throught the supporting clips between the tank and the rear cabin bulkhead. If replacing in copper/kunifer the new pipe can be poked through the clips with the tank in place then shaped afterwards.

It also doesn't help that only one of the pipes has a join under the plastic cover that is beneath the car below the passenger seat - but I can't remember which of the two pipes it is.

Anyway that's why I paid someone else to replace mine!

If tampered it would read " .55456 " (with a large dot before the digits)

Whats the price? If you don't mind sharing. Values are rising so good info, but at the end of the day these are all such small money now if you are happy with what you're getting for the money, that's what matters

Car in that as looks lovely,but price??!!
As said,looks very steep.
Seen plenty of similar mileage 06/07 facelift 3.0si cars for not much more.

The price is an interesting one, 3.0 prices seem to be all over the place, why what you think it is worth considering the mileage (If its genuine!) and colour?

3.5k ? Not seen many 3.0 Z4s at that price?

Agree specs not great, though the two things I’d want would be heated seats and multi function steering wheel, which you can retro-fit, I think
