Another arrival; this time from Germany. Ordered and delivered within a few days. Look to be great quality and the squarer shape of the fins will really update the look of the front end I think.

I'm really impressed with the quality. Will post another pic once they're on the car.

Little update. The car is loaded up and ready for the next chapter of remedial work happening tomorrow (yes, I have the weather for it ).
- ATE brake discs all round
- Textar pads all round
- New n/s headlight washer jet (finally able to stop carrying around a large bottle of water)
- Replacement O2 sensor (EML hasn't come on since the first time it happened a while back, but changing anyway)
- After cleaning post-deluge, fit the Salberk kidney's.
Springtime jobs so far include:
- 4 x new tyres
- Potentially replace the mint MV2's for something else
- Wheel alignment
- Deep clean interior and leather
- Finish hardwire USB install and Brodit phone setup
- Stone chips and detailing - might experiment myself
- Wrap/dip/paint my spare interior trim set
- Learn wet sanding and DA polishing (on something other than my car first)

Nice progress! I'm looking forward to seeing what the new kidney grilles look like fitted, I'm toying with the idea of buying a set for mine.

I'll put up some pictures. I'm convinced the glossy, squarer fin shapes are going to really compliment the flame-style body lines.AlphaEchoAlpha wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 5:39 pm Nice progress! Yeah, I reckon it will work. I'm more tempted now I've fitted my anthracite alloys!inkey$ wrote: ↑Wed Jan 13, 2021 5:44 pmI'll put up some pictures. Another little job done today after yesterday’s new brake discs, pads, washer jet and o2 sensor. This time its something thats been flagged at time of MOT for this car the last few times and the petrol filler seal.
Original was pretty degraded, so I found a replacement on eBay and 2 mins later it was swapped over.
Link to the seal, here...https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/254250516246
New seal... Old seal...

Salberk gloss black kidney grilles installed today. 2 min job and really liking the squarer fins.

You won’t regret it. Modernises the front end just enough and the gloss black stops it from feeling too aftermarket.Weston Matt wrote: ↑Sun Jan 17, 2021 3:01 pm Looks good. Very tempted by these and you are making my choice a little easier

Had you down as a nice and simple uncluttered look, no border and centred letters.
Fair enough
