Z4 Coupe Monaco Blue: Progress Thread (temporary wheel!)
Picked up the refurbished wheel today from Mad House Tyres on the Old Kent Road. Took about a week for them to fully refurbish, but I'm happy with the results (although I'm kind of missing the 17 inch Wolfrace 5 spoke they lent me).
No photos, but I've started a YouTube channel to document my days with the coupe. May not go beyond one or two videos, but figured it was a good way to help fill in the lockdown gaps. Sound, levels and general quality to hopefully improve

Sunshine and the need for bread and milk was the perfect excuse to get out and into the back roads of Kent. Dirty her up today in prep for tomorrow and the inaugural jet washer/snow foam unit I got for my birthday back in January.

Just looking at your photos, my e85 is also Monaco Blue with beige interior and roof, anyway I was toying with the idea of silver grills, now having seen yours gloss black it is they look great with the dark blue

I have both and although the silver grey look great, these black Salberk ones I think finish it off perfectly.

Not posted for a while but slowly starting to emerge into the sunshine (now we have some) and enjoy the coupe. Today I needed to get the handbrake adjusted/looked at so popped over to ETA Motorsport before mini-outdoor lunch meetup with Lynchy and Bing. The car loves these Kent back roads.
Next up is to find some time to decontaminate and bring that paintwork back up to scratch and I still need to hardwire in the USB power hub. Anyways here are some nice pictures I took today and in the last few weeks.

Not updated this for a while so probably due a post.
In the last couple of months I’ve managed take a crack at machine polishing which was/is brilliant. After testing on the bonnet and only after one pass you can see the difference in the clear coat. Looking forward to tackling it again and the rest of the car.
Today I took the opportunity to wash and clean the car after a long road trip to Caffeine and Machine last Friday. Had a go at recolouring the seat bolster too with some Scratch Doctor beige colourant. Very easy and very effective.
Also got around to removing Fuse 40 so I dont lose another headlight washer cap
Next up, I have a aluminium handbrake lever on its way from Storm Motorwerks so it matches by V1 shifter. Then I’m just waiting for the wheels I want to be back in stock, before investigating cold air induction solutions and possibly lowering the car a little.

Thanks for all the help with offsets (TheDan) over the last month or two. After much flip flopping between CSL reps, M4CS reps and various other options, I think I've decided on a set of Bola B1's in Matt Bronze.
Looking at a square setup of 8.5 on each corner, with offsets of 40 (front) and 33 (rear) to help fill the arches without spacers and transferring virtually new Eagle F1s from my current MV2s.
Yes they're bronze. No, not everyone will like them - but I think they look great against the Monaco Blue of the coupe. Here's a little photoshop image of what to expect...

Inkey$, you won’t be alone. Although I found my matt bronze a little too matt, so I have since glossed them up a little with a couple extra coats of lacquer.

Thanks! I’m thinking orange reflectors on the wing tips would work better and I’m getting some different grills to try.

Z4 Coupe Monaco Blue: Progress Thread (rear blind replacement)
Removed the beige rear blind and replaced with a black one sourced from Liam22. Not the most comfortable of jobs but I got it done in around an hour all in.

Z4 Coupe Monaco Blue: Progress Thread (Handbrake Lever)
Ordered a Storm Motorwerks billet aluminium handbrake handle a few weeks ago to go with the V1 gearknob, and got around to fitting it today. 5 minute job but looks so much better and I think really suits the aluminium interior.

Z4 Coupe Monaco Blue: Progress Thread (Incoming New Wheels)
Just got the nod from Driftworks….new wheels have been shipped and hopefully arriving tomorrow. Come with a fitting kit - basically a spigot and BMW bolts that fit the wheel bolt recesses. Noting quite like that feeling of new incoming car parts.
