Wheels: Width and Offset?
I’m running 230’s on mine and reckon they suit the E85 perfectly. Go 19’s, you know you want to!

Wheels: Width and Offset?
They do look nice but every car I have had I have always gone for the smallest wheel option with more rubber.
Bigger Wheels, Stance, Camber et al do like nice on other peoples car's just not my own.

Here's mine on 19's. BBS CH005, Eibach Pro Springs + Bilstein B12 dampers.
Since taking those photos I'm actually now running a 5mm spacer on the rear too just to fill the arches a touch more. No rubbing at all at the rear. On very hard compression + turning the front rubs a tiny bit on the arch liner where the bumper meets the wing.
Front:
19x8.5 ET35
Rear:
19x9.5J ET40 (Et35 if you include the spacer now..)
Although i really want a set of 18" TE37's...

That looks bloody lovely Great shade of gold on the wheels, not too 'yellow'.

I only just noticed this, but if you like how 230s look you'd like 295s as well. They look identical, but 295s are 18s.mgrlane wrote: ↑Thu Nov 19, 2020 9:31 am ragtopz4 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 19, 2020 9:21 am

I had a set on my Coupe on the first page of this thread, and although they don't come up that often I'm sure someone had a set for sale recently.
Coupes because stunning!

I believe they are the 5 series deep dish ones so will be et20/et22 I think. How do you get on with rubbing?
Ive always wanted the deep dish or the even rarer concave style 32's but the offset just seems too extreme for me without running silly camber.

Yes they are, i literally hardly ever rub unless I'm driving down a really uneven road at high speed which is rare, also I'm running tractor tires for comfort as I'm nearly 30 and trying to preserve my back LOL. I have natural camber on the back which helps as its lowered on coil overs so yes i don't have an issue.Thermaltake wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 9:40 pmI believe they are the 5 series deep dish ones so will be et20/et22 I think. The other way is to run low profile tires which reduces scrubbing if your wanting to run low.

To me other than them having 5 spokes they don't look to much alike.Mr Tidy wrote: ↑Mon Nov 30, 2020 8:13 pmI only just noticed this, but if you like how 230s look you'd like 295s as well. Perhaps I am looking at the wrong wheels.

Great thread, loving the pictures with the various set ups. A picture adds a lot to the usual wheel size, suspension talk.

Changed my wheels over now,
18" AC Schnitzer type 3 8.5j et43 all around, machined two sets of spacers to suit running 17mm front and 14mm rear giving effective et26 front (on an 8.5j so equivalent of et32 on an 8j) and et29 rear
