Well the thing is only about 600 were registered in the UK, and after over a decade there can't be too many that have done less than 50K miles!

Which is why sellers can try for prices like that in the hope they find a buyer obsessed on mileage. But if you buy one as low as that you can't use it too much without huge depreciation.

High mileage ones sell for not much more than 50% of that price, like this one on here:- viewtopic.php?f=41&t=119365

All I would say is be prepared to want one before you even go and look at one, because you will want it!

I managed to look at two others before the one I bought, and then I gave in.

Hexagon always have super-ambitious screen prices. I get their email newsletter - lovely cars at insane prices!

Indeed if I had garrage space I might buy a high mileage one, simply to tuck away. I do agree they will be the Zed of collectors one day . Simply because most people enjoy looking at them. Don't think I would ever buy one to enjoy driving it though, I no longer do track days and that is about the only place they ever appealled to me, as a driver's car.. The roadster is just more fun in every way as a road car. IMHO. :D

Think the previous owners on here and posted recently he’d traded in against a 991. I’m with you,I’m getting quite taken with them but I’d buy a cheaper higher miles one because I’d drive it and ones like this only keep their premium price if the mileage stays low as far as I can see.

Saying that with what’s happening in the world just now I can see many things like luxury/sports cars being one of the first casualties. Already a post on here saying someone may unfortunately have to give up his lovely coupe because his line of employment has taken a hard hit already and only likely to get worse. Very sad

That actually looks like a relatively sensible price for Hexagon. Low mileage cars have been advertised at over 20 grand for a number of years. And uber low mileage cars over 30 grand. If anything I think the market had been quite stable for a few years. Eventually I think these cars will go the way of the M coupe bread van.

Yes, I thought that looked pretty sensible for Hexagon!

Obviously I won't mind if they do go the way of the Breadvan Z3M Coupe.

But the way things are looking now that won't happen any time soon.

I don’t think the ask is too ambitious especially for Hexagon, not so sure the CSL’s are genuine, can’t see the BMW stamp but still looks a nice car :driving:

There are a few Z4MC’s for sale at the moment (including mine), I don’t see a drop in prices.

Some sellers are in need to move the car quickly hence bargains appear, others panic when they see a bargain and assume that must be the current price point, nonsense.

Understandingly prices could come down due to the current situation and some stupid offers will be made.

The BMW price list dated September 2006 that I bought on Ebay says £41,285 on the road for an MC, but that is before any options.
