Hi all,
My car is a late 2006 build E86 with halogen headlights.
I'm about to fit the Morimoto 5 bi-xenon kit and high beam link and am also thinking about retrofitting the auto levelling sensors, links etc. to be fully legal. (I already have the washers)
I've seen the various threads about fitting the sensors etc., but only to a pre-facelift car with the wiring already in place. I haven't found any relevant to the post facelift car. (May have missed them of course)
My questions are therefore; 1) do the halogen headlight units have the correct motors ? 2) do facelift cars have the wiring loom in place ? I've not found real oem particularly helpful in finding this out. I appreciate I will have to change the light switch, and re-programme the LCM
If the loom is not present or the light motors different then this bit will probably be a non starter.
Also - can I give a recommendation and thanks to Trups at EMTuning for supplying the new lights and assistance in sorting out the details.
Many thanks all.

I suspect being post facelift that it a) will not be wired and b) wrong sort of motors. Sorry .

Thanks. Pretty much as I thought. I won't waste time sourcing the bits. On a positive note, Trups said he has not had any MOT issues with his kit. Just have to make sure the beam setting is within tolerance.

Thanks very much.
Useful info if I have an MOT issue. Any idea if the light units / motors are the same other than the xenon projector section in place of the H7 projector version. The Morimoto projector is a straight swap for the H7 using the same studs.
