Hi everyone,
Since the day I bought my E86, I've been looking for the centre storage trim/door on eBay, MarketPlace, ASM, etc. Plenty for the E85, but nothing for the E86 until a forum member who stripped his Coupe sold me his. I bought it knowing it may not work because my car has bluetooth and his car didn't. I was hoping I could split the doors and Frankenstein them together, or just use the non-bluetooth one and relocate the sync button somewhere else. But after looking at the parts, everything seems to be plastic welded together and I'm not sure what to do. I would love some advice on this.
Also I failed to take the non-broken door out of the trim. Does anyone know how to do it without breaking it?

Called Soper Lincoln today to buy something completely unrelated to this, but asked if they still sold the flap and how much it would cost... I was expecting a ridiculous quote, but it turned out it 'only' costs £57 + VAT before the forum discount got applied, needless to say it's now ordered and soon I'll be able to use the centre storage and have one less trim piece rattling

To remove the flap you need to remove the two small screws on the hinges and then it just pulls off.

Thanks, srhutch! I thought that would be it, but I was too scared to try and break something.
