How does this even go missing?

Any ideas how this rubber seal no longer surrounds the lock?

And even better, does anyone know how to go about replacing? I expect a whole new locking system might be required

Hopefully it's 51247042830 but that might just be the seal, I've not had one off to see what's what.

I suspect someone has tried to illegally gain access to your boot :fuelfire:

I doubt very much a missing rubber seal will render your entire lock in need of replacement

Checked by removing the planting backing cover from inside the boot, nowhere to be seen.

I would agree someone has probably tried to get in, thank god they failed!

Hmmm that part looks like it sits behind the lock. Had it apart earlier and that piece is in place still.

The part I'm missing is the rubber seal around the lock, can't seem to find one online anywhere!?!?!

Your lock is 90 degrees the wrong way round. The key hole should be like an “i”not a dash. Someone’s defo been in there and given it a good twist. Need to open up and see what’s been done. Think rubber will be there. But your bracket and screw? Fitting points may be broken...
