I hope you are on the road by the weekend as you've put plenty of time and effort into your Z4!

SHE’S ALIVE
MOT passed today. Spent a bit more in the garage than we planned but the floor damage needed welding so seats and carpet out. Also needed a new calliper and rear shock but hey ho. Had her out tonight in a thunderstorm. Loved it.
Blimey they mist up a lot.

Weird though, it went in with a working roof and now it won’t work. Could be the downpour, it was very wet. Anyone else experienced this after heavy rain. I made sure the drain holes were clear whilst I had the wheels off.

Yeah all sorted. The shelf came off to do the rear shock and didn’t get out back together properly. 10 min job to sort. Now it just needs to stop raining!

Keep the Aircon on as it'll clear the windscreen.

Have you checked the door membranes at any point? Just in case there's some water getting in.

Yes. either keep the AC on, or I think there is a dedicated defrost button on the dash that is designed to deal with this very effectively. If you engage that, the fan will go to maximum, the AC should turn on, and the windshield and side windows should clear off very thoroughly.
