New owner - what wheels do I have?

Hi everyone, I am a new member having just yesterday bought a 2008 Z4 coupe. Having checked my vin number I think my car should have double spoke 135 wheels but it doesn’t. Here is a pic of my car, does anyone know what wheels these are?

Thanks, I do like them but to be honest I think I would prefer the 135’s.

Hi and welcome. That’s a lovely looking coupe. I believe the wheels are Style 203. A very nice and not too often seen wheel. Really suit the car.

Take it back they've welded the roof closed!

Perfect - 203’s seem to match so that’s what they are. I like to keep my cars factory standard so glad they are BMW oem wheels.

As for the roof being welded shut, I used to have a Boxster and almost never drove it with the roof down. For some reason I’ve never felt comfortable in a convertible. Don’t know why but that’s the way it is.

I can understand that in a convertible. But we driver roadsters, which were designed to be open top, so much more sturdy and rigid.

Welcome sandman, nice car. If you put the vin number into www.mdecoder.com it should tell you what the wheels are if they are original from the factory along with the rest of the original spec

Rather than start another thread I thought I would ask another question here.
Does anyone know the interior code for these seats /door cards?

Hi and welcome to the forum - and the exclusive Coupe club!

You might have the code if you did a VIN check, but I think it's Individual Bicolor IMOLAROT ANT (NBC2).

I like the wheels too - nice and easy to clean (unlike 135s) and no corroded bolt-heads like you get on 108s!

203s do feature in the brochure I've got, but don't seem to have been standard on any Z4 model. :?

But they are the same sizes as 135s and 108s.

Personally I'd keep them - sometimes it's good to have something different!

And as has been said on here before, 135s (aka MV2s) were also fitted to Sport model E46s, so aren't that exclusive - but it's your car, so your choice.
