Kidney Grills Matt or Gloss

Gloss black with the chrome surround is the way to go but it seems you can’t get that combo aftermarket. I bought a gloss black aftermarket one hoping I could fit the chrome surround from my oem grey ones but alas they are very different in that area. So options are:

1. Gloss black aftermarket market with no chrome surround.

2. Used matt black and chrome surround as per the M cars (and I think maybe the 2.0l as well)

3. Spray your oem ones gloss black and reuse existing surround.

Gloss would definitely suit your car.

I think I'll go with gloss, I have seen these on Ebay, do you or anyone else know what they are like? It's just that they come from China and not sure what quality will be like.

Ebay chinese ones are good. Decent quality and fit well.

Definitely gloss, cost twice what Matt are but imo worth it
