You may well be right, I don't know. That asides I do know that it makes a set of 'almost' fit and forget brake pipes. Got to be good! I will say though that you will have to tone down the OCD a touch ( I know I had to :) ) as it comes in a roll and it hardly ever is dead straight on long runs of pipe. :o Just don't look, it works for me.

You can buy a tool to straighten it though if the OCD is too bad :D

DLV did my rear brake pipes in late 2017 as it had MOT advisories 2 years running. :(

It was only 11 years old - still there were no advisories last June! :)

Going back to your gismo that sounds like a handy piece of kit - can you post any details of it? Mine has been retro-fitted with an Aux in inside the glovebox, but a USB would be much more useful (I imagine I couldn't use both, but if anyone knows for sure that would be great).

Mind you, like road warrior I do like to hear the exhaust.

New pipes should last ages - but what's your gismo?

67, and if the current ones have lasted 13 years.. And based on the fact that I rarely keep a car for more than 2 years. What do you think? :D

Cunifer is an alloy of copper, nickel & iron (Cu + Ni + Fe). Its a lot more expensive than steel but is infinitely better at resisting corrosion. Its often used for sea water pipes on ships.
Start the day with a smile, get it over with.

went out for a drive in the sun, roof down ect.. care to guess the end result ?
i filled a 16gb sd card full of music (predominantly ac/dc and floyd and set off for a countryside and motorway blast, i found my head was bobbling in stationary traffic and motorways/fast duel carriageways, and i was turning it off for moving off, countryside and general burbling possibilities. I noticed it overrode the satnav map but switched back to show instructions and then went back to showing the track playing, turning off the radio instantly brought the map back of course. That is slightly annoying of course, but then, if i needed the immensely clunky bmw satnav in the first place i would be wayy more upset :o :o
